Failte! ~ Welcome!

The Irish Soldiers Relief Society is a New England-based living history organization associated with the recreated 28th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry of the Irish Brigade.

Members work to educate the public by portraying, as accurately as possible, the life and times of Northern civilians during the American Civil War. We also provide support from the "home front" for the soldiers of the 28th Massachusetts, some of whom are the husbands, sons or significant others of Society members.

The Irish Soldiers Relief Society is affiliated regionally with the civilians of the Army of the Potomac, Department of New England and nationally with the Mifflin Guard Civilians.
